Porter Parent Prayer Ministry
Prayer is one of the most important aspects of any Student Ministry. It is vital to the Revolution! Perhaps the most crucial way you can be involved in the life of your student is through prayer. The Porter Parent Prayer Ministry meets each Monday evening at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary. The second Saturday of each month parents meet at a designated school to prayer walk the campus. Please contact Scotty Morris for more information regarding this ministry at 223-5424. Parents are also encouraged to come early on Wednesday nights to pray over the Student Ministry rooms and for the students that will fill them.
Lead Teams
Each event that the Student Ministry holds requires a lot of work. As a member of a lead team you will work with the Student Ministry staff and other adults to help plan and coordinate each event that goes on in the Student Ministry. Please contact the Student Ministry office if you would like to help with any events.
Wednesday Nights
There are several opportunities for parents to be involved on Wednesday nights. We are in need of parents to come and pray a half hour before the service, work the cafe, develop relationships with the students, or serve on the welcome team or media team. We are open to your suggestions on ministries we could provide on Wednesday nights. |
